The existing 1600 square foot Breeze Salon and Spa had outgrown its current lease space. When the adjacent 1400 square foot suite opened up, it also opened up a new menu of services for owner Breanna Herriott to offer at this salon location.
The existing point of sale desk was rotated, to direct client traffic towards three distinct areas within the salon: Full Service Salon, Full Service Spa, and the new “Beauty on Demand” area.
The spa was expanded to include a separate and enlarged waiting area, dressing room, and sauna.
The congestion of the existing hair stations was relieved by adding 4 new hair stations, and shifting 4 current stations into the new space (8 stations total in expansion). Three new hair wash sinks were added. A second color bar was also added – minimizing the cross flow of traffic between the new and existing spaces.
With the addition of the Beauty on Demand stations, the Cedar Park location was able to offer spa treatments for $35 or less. This gives busy clients a chance to add on a variety of restorative and rejuvenating spa treatments that take only 10-15 minutes.
