The 1807 Richcreek project was a major renovation to an existing 2 bedroom, 1 bath 800 square foot home in the Crestview neighborhood.

The home was in rather poor condition, and all of the walls were taken down to bare wood studs prior to reconstruction. The entire layout of the home was revamped, to push all of the “public” uses towards the front of the house, and the “private” used towards the back.

A large addition at the rear of the home essentially doubled the home’s square footage. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms were added to the rear of the home, with direct access to a patio in the backyard. .

** The home was designed by cdSHAW Architect in partnership with Another Great House (AGH). It was awarded a 5-star rating by the Austin Energy Green Building Program.
