Austin Architect
Denise is Founder and Principal Architect of Plumb Architecture, LLC. She has worked in the architectural field since 1994. In this time she has gained a wide array of experience on various project types – from a high-rise office tower and performing arts centers to high-end dental offices and custom residential designs. Each project type presents different challenges and discoveries to be made.
Denise believes in giving back to the community. She is actively involved with the local chapter of the US Green Building Council’s Green Schools Committee. This committee strives toward the goal of bringing green schools to everyone within this generation. In addition to her work with the USGBC, she has been involved in the AIA Austin’s Architecture in Schools program since 2007. She has taught architectural concepts to third, fourth, and fifth graders in five different elementary schools in the Austin area.
Outside of the office, Denise can be found zipping across trails on her mountain bike or on a trail run. She is a mother, competitive athlete, racing in both amateur mountain biking and triathlon events.
